The madness of it all!

Coming from the cultural heights of downtown Dull to NY has been a bit of a shock. Senses are assaulted from all sides.
We met up with a leaner and fitter Kirsty yesterday  and  had  dinner  next  to the Rockefeller Centre and afterwards ascended the 70 stories (by lift!) for a truly magificent view over Manhattan. Sadly I had forgotten my camera.

Today (Thursday) we took the Metro (an experience in itself) to the Staten Island Ferry for wonderful views of the skyscrapers and Statue of Liberty. Then back to Manhatten and Wall St. and the famous or infamous 'raging bull' of the stock market then a cab to Times Square and on to a tour of NBC television studios - of special interest to K of course.

Eaten too much already. The girls seem to want mostly salads which look lovely but with so much on offer for the wandering carnivore resistance is futile! Tomorrow I think Central Park and the Guggenheim museum. Far too much to see but they're being gentle with me and I have an ally in Kirsty with the photography 'lag behind' problem!
